Villa Marguerite is the boutique hotel of Eric and Luc, nestled in the stunningly beautiful, secretly remote village of Cadouin in Dordogne.

Cadouin is dominated by the imposingly beautiful Roman abbey, L'Abbaye Notre-Dame de la Nativite de Cadouin built by the Cistercian Order and consecrated in 1154. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site, and is on the pilgrim route of Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle.

They stumbled upon this house the way curious people will, and it was un coup de foudre. While Luc spent a year renovating it, Eric continued his work at Hermes until it's completion. Then they both set about filling it with a wonderfully eclectic collection of furniture, art and objets accrued over the years.

Today Villa Marguerite is a perfect example of hospitality, with all the chic of Paris in all the comfort of the country. In operation as a B&B since 2006, and frequented by "in the know" guests to this stunning part of France from all over the world.

VILLA MARGUERITE

Villa Marguerite est une chambre d’hôtes boutique d’Eric et Luc, nichée dans le sublime village de Cadouin en Dordogne.

Cadouin est dominée par l’imposante et magnifique Abbaye Notre Dame de la Nativite  construite par l’Ordre Cistercien, consacrée en 1154. C'est un site du patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO sur la route du pèlerinage de Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle.

Ils ont été captivés par cette maison comme tous les gens curieux le sont, et ce fut le coup de foudre. Alors que commencent les rénovations pendant un an, Eric poursuit son travail chez Hermes à Paris. Puis, tous deux enrichissent petit à petit la Villa d'une collection merveilleusement éclectique de meubles, d'art et objets accumulés au fil des ans.

Aujourd'hui la Villa Marguerite est un parfait exemple d'hospitalité, avec tout le chic Parisien, dans le confort du pays. Elle fonctionne comme un B & B depuis 2006. Fréquentée par des clients raffinés, qui connaissent cette magnifique partie de la France et qui viennent du Monde entier.
